The president rallied his supporters in Florida last night and their support was palpable. In fact, they chanted “bullsh*t” after President Trump denounced the partisan House impeachment hearings and the reason behind it.
Trump reminded his supporters that Democrats failed miserably at pushing the idea that he colluded with Russia to win the election.
“Now the same maniacs are pushing the deranged impeachment,” Trump said. “Think of this. Impeachment. A witch hunt. The same as before.”
But the president pointed to recent polling, showing that Americans were turning against the notion of impeachment.
“You see what’s happening in the polls?” Trump asked. “Everybody said, ‘That’s really bullshit.’”
The crowd roared with approval and started chants of “Bullshit” at the rally.
Trump recalled that Democrats were “devastated” when the Mueller investigation failed to remove him from office.
“Now they say, ‘Give us anything, we’ll impeach him. Let him go to the refrigerator and pick an orange, from Florida … we’ll impeach him,” Trump said.
Later in the evening he told supporters that he would protect the Thanksgiving holiday from politically correct madness and the leftists who are trying to destroy it.
“You know some people want to change the name Thanksgiving, they don’t want to use the term ‘Thanksgiving,” he said.

Trump reminded his supporters that he already defended Christmas from the left, boasting that finally, Americans were saying Merry Christmas again after he was elected president.
“But now we’re going to have to do a little work on Thanksgiving. People have different ideas why it shouldn’t be called Thanksgiving, but I know everybody in this room loves the name thanksgiving and we’re not changing it,” Trump said.
The president hosted a “Homecoming” rally in Florida on Tuesday on his way to his Mar-a-Lago club for Thanksgiving with his family.
Earlier in the day, Trump pardoned two Thanksgiving turkeys and wished Americans a Happy Thanksgiving.
“On behalf of the entire Trump family, I wish each and every one of you a very happy Thanksgiving,” he said. “It’s going to be a great Thanksgiving.”
