The latest statement from Democrat leader Nancy Pelosi means one of two things. Either the older woman is yet again confused and this time, instead of believing President Trump is the former President Bush, she believes that she supports the president. The other option is that Pelosi is joining the growing list of liberals who have finally realized that the Antifa deserves “unequivocal condemnation.” Perhaps, it is a combination of both.
Pelosi issued a statement late yesterday that basically admitted what many have known for a long time, the group is violent and a danger to all of America. This is in direct contradiction to what she and the rest of the Democrats have been saying all along. In fact, when President Trump tried to place partial blame on the Antifa, they called for his impeachment.

It seems that the actions of the Antifa over the weekend in Berkeley has led to a change of heart for many on the left. Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguin also admitted that Antifa needs to be termed as a gang. During the protests in his city on Sunday, the Antifa were seen jumping barriers and blatantly assaulting peaceful protesters. It is still slightly confusing as to why this particular incident has sparked such outrage. Perhaps they simply couldn’t find any Trump supporters to blame.
Pelosi stated, “Our democracy has no room for inciting violence or endangering the public, no matter the ideology of those who commit such acts. The violent actions of people calling themselves Antifa in Berkeley this weekend deserve unequivocal condemnation, and the perpetrators should be arrested and prosecuted.”
This is very similar to what President Trump stated after Charlottesville when so many called him a supporter of the Neo-Nazis. However, even with some of the left admitting their mistake about the Antifa, we doubt they will add how wrong they were about the president.
