The most horrible situation for any reactionary liberal is to see its main enemy doing something that is impossible to criticize. Lamentably, this is what happened with ESPN’s Jemele Hill after President Donald Trump decided to intervene on behalf of three black UCLA basketball players in Chinese custody. Fortunately, she revealed her intellectual dishonesty by refusing to give any credit to the president.

Cody Riley, Jalen Hill and LiAngelo Ball were released Tuesday morning after getting arrested by Chinese police authorities. Apparently, they got in this situation for allegedly stealing from a Louis Vuitton store. Basically, it was a serious case considering that Chinese authorities have always been characterized for being extremely ruthless.

Given this situation, President Trump decided to make his move in order to save the three basketball players. He personally asked Chinese President Xi Jinping to get involved in order to release them. Less than 24 hours later, Hill, Ball and Riley were set free.

Instead of offering any kind of credit to Trump, she simply used her Twitter account to express her intellectual dishonesty. Responding to a tweet saying she was in for a stressful day after the players were released, Hill wrote that she was “off today.” Also, she wrote that is not stressful to report the facts.

While this was one of the greatest episodes of President Trump, considering the way he used his power to save the players, Hill didn’t have much to say. Naturally, this is quite surprising not only because she works for a sports network, but also because she once accused Trump of being a white supremacist.

As every honest person would’ve pointed out, it’s quite bizarre that the President, who Hill fundamentally believes is a racist, would work so hard to free these players. In fact, if Hill’s accusations against Trump hold true, it’s quite strange to see this man making efforts to save these players from spending years in a Chinese prison.

Even if you hate president Trump, is impossible not to give him a lot of credit for the player´s release. After all, he had no obligation to do it but still decided to use his influence to convince the Chinese president.

What Hill doesn’t seem to be aware of is that a racist would have never done this action. After all, it was a hard one considering that Trump had to convince Jinping. In fact, releasing these men was not an easy operation considering that every single report confirmed that they stole the store.

Basically, the players were in an internal situation where only Chinese authorities were the ones who could decide their fate. In fact, they could even politicize the incident in order to let the Chinese people know that the law applies to everyone.

According to several media outlets, these players were possibly going to spend the next 10 years in a Chinese prison, which are characterized for being quite dangerous. However, thanks to Trump, they won’t even spend a full day behind bars. Naturally, this is a really odd behavior for someone who liberals accuse of hating black people.

Of the three players, LiAngelo Ball is definitely the most famous. After all, this man is the brother of the Lakers’ Lonzo Ball and son of the infamous LaVar Ball. He and the other two players were arrested last week on charges of shoplifting in the city of Hangzhou.

The players were arrested for attempting to steal sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store. Apparently, Chinese authorities initially threatened the three young players with the possibility of a decade in prison.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the players were released early Tuesday morning from Chinese custody and safely boarded a 9 a.m. Delta flight to come home. Their release came less than a day after Trump personally intervened on their behalf.

Apparently, Trump dedicated a lot of interest in this matter during a meeting with Jinping on Monday, while on a two-day trip to Beijing. Some media outlets reported that he had brought up the players’ release amid a discussion of other topics, including the nuclear threat posed by North Korea.

According to ESPN, a source noted there’s a surveillance footage of the players shoplifting from three stores inside of a high-end shopping center. This one houses Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Salvatore Ferragamo stores.

Whether Hill and ESPN like it or not, they’ve got President Trump to thank for the players’ release.
