Following former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s abrupt resignation on Monday, a new report indicates that it might be the connection to an internal investigation into his role in deliberately delaying the bureau’s investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.
He reportedly has locked in on McCabe, who is involved in a slew of inappropriate actions that likely resulted in his resignation earlier this week.
After speaking with several witnesses, Horowitz determined McCabe waited more than three weeks before analyzing the emails — many of which contained classified information — found on Weiner’s laptop.
The FBI found more of Clinton’s classified emails after seizing Weiner’s laptop when they arrested and charged the former New York Representative with sending sexually explicit text messages to an underage minor in another state.
McCabe is believed to have purposefully stalled until late October to review the emails found on the laptop, leading many to believe he was trying to shield Clinton from criminal charges at the height of the 2016 presidential election.
Prior to this revelation, it was reported that FBI Director Andrew Wray pressured McCabe to resign immediately after he reviewed the four-page FISA memo, which reportedly details how top officials at the FBI and DOJ abused their power to illegally spy on President Donald Trump’s campaign.
McCabe has also been connected to elevating the Steele dossier to obtain a warrant under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act to spy on Trump and launch the phony Russia investigation.
Amid his involvement in launching the investigation into Trump and abusing his power to protect Clinton, it’s highly likely McCabe is just one of many top officials who will soon be exposed for acting corruption.
Many would agree he should be charged criminally for his actions.
