Devin Nunes: Americans Will Be Stunned By Other Carter Page FISA Information

“We are quite confident that once the American people see these 20 pages ... they will be shocked by what’s in that FISA application.”

Nunes said the full FISA warrant will stun Americans .

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes said on Sunday that the American public “ will be shocked” by the 20-plus blacked-out pages of the application used by the FBI, under the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court, to obtain spy warrants on Carter Page, a brief aide to President Donald Trump‘s 2016 campaign.

During an interview Sunday with Fox News, Nunes said the American public deserves to see the full, unredacted FISA application. And, given the evidence of corruption from the FBI and the Obama administration to launch the Russia investigation, the blacked-out information must be huge.

“We are quite confident that once the American people see these 20 pages, at least for those that will get real reporting on this issue, they will be shocked by what’s in that FISA application,” Nunes said.

“What’s left that’s redacted, the American people really do need to know what’s underneath there,” Nunes said, adding that “the Left and the media” don’t want these redacted portions of the FISA memos to be released.

“They don’t want that unredacted. They don’t want transparency for the American people,” he added.

Nunes’ comments raise serious questions about what information the FBI blacked out in the 20-plus pages of the FBI’s fourth and final application for a FISA warrant on Page.

Earlier this month, the Department of Justice released the heavily redacted FISA applications to the public. The redacted version of the FBI’s applications shows the bureau heavily relied on the unverified dossier, the salacious hit piece financed by Clinton, among others, that alleged Trump colluded with Russia during the 2016 presidential election.

As detailed by Conservative Daily Post, between Oct. 2016 and Sept. 2017, the FBI submitted the warrants for surveillance on Page, telling the secret court that the former Trump aide was an illegal foreign agent working with Russia. Page has denied the claim and has not been charged with a single crime, despite the FBI probing and spying on him for more than a year and a half.

CDP has also reported extensively on how Fusion GPS hired former British spy Christopher Steele to compile the dossier. Hillary Clinton‘s 2016 campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid Fusion more than $9 million to fund Steele’s anti-Trump operation.

This operation laid the foundation for the Russia investigation, and paved the way for the special counsel appointment. Since this operation began nearly two years ago, not a shred of evidence has been presented showing that Trump broke any laws or colluding with Russia. And, not a single charge has been brought against Page despite being spied on for nearly a year.

Building off Nunes’ bombshell comments, what else could be hidden in the FISA applications that the FBI may not want people to know? The applications show the bureau heavily relied on the dossier to obtain numerous spy warrants against the Trump campaign.

Many argue that the FBI may have used more contacts and information from Clinton and her campaign to elevate the dossier to the highest levels of the government and Obama White House, and they don’t want the American people to see that information.

Time will tell what happens next, but Nunes said Republicans lawmakers are reportedly looking into ways for the 20-plus pages of blacked-out information to be made available to the public for transparency into how a Clinton-funded dossier triggered the Russia probe into Trump, her political opponent.
