When President Trump is not busy securing our border, reasserting our country’s global dominance, making our country great again, and “winning” in other ways, he’s trolling his opponents. Since they constantly attack him and try to ruin his reputation, it’s only fair that he does something in response.

Just recently, President Donald Trump took reporters from TIME magazine on a tour of the White House. One of the places he made sure to show them was his newly renovated dining room, complete with a brand new TV. He pulled up footage he saved showing the testimony of former United States Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former United States Attorney General (AG) Sally Yates and ridiculed them in front of reporters, pointing out instances where they were “choking” and “desperate for breath.”

Earlier this week, President Trump spent time with reporters showing them around his new workplace. As they entered the White House dining room, he pointed to a brand new, 60-inch television mounted on the wall. “You’ll see something that is amazing. It just happened,” he excitedly told reporters. “Come on, I’ll show you,” he added, leading them over to the TV.

The President then picked up a remote, turned on the TV, pulled up his saved footage, and selected a recording of Clapper and Yate’s recent testimony to the Senate. “[TiVo] is one of the great inventions of all time” he noted while fast-forwarding to the part of the exchange he wanted to show reporters.

The first clip he played showed Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) asking Clapper if he knows of any evidence showing collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. When he responded that there isn’t, Trump commented, “he was choking on that.” He continued, “Is there any record at all of collusion? He was the head of the whole thing. He said no. That’s a big statement.”

Having made his point, Trump then skipped to a clip showing Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) asking the duo if they ever requested that the names of Trump, his associates, or members of Congress be unmasked. “Watch them start to choke like dogs,” he said giddily, adding, “watch what happens. They are desperate for breath.” Instead of answering Grassley’s question right away, the clip shows Clapper remaining silent for several moments. “Ah, he’s choking. Ah, look,” Trump jeered. When Clapper finally admitted that he did, in fact, make requests to have them unmasked, Trump pointed to the screen and said, “see the people in the back, people are gasping.”

He brought this up to further prove that he was right when he said the Obama administration surveilled his team while he was running for office. The gasps coming from the audience show that many people bought into the left’s narrative that no such spying occurred.

Despite being correct, Trump received a massive amount of backlash from the left when he first accused the former administration of spying on him. Specifically, many criticized him for not providing any evidence to back up his tweet saying, “terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!”

Liberals claimed that by tweeting this, Trump was trying to spread a made-up conspiracy theory. However, shortly after his tweet, it was confirmed that he was, in fact, spied on by the former administration. White House investigators revealed that the former National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, was responsible for a vast number of requests asking to “unmask,” or reveal the identities of, people associated with the Trump campaign.

Now that it’s clear he was right, people have had to apologize. “When you look at Susan Rice and what’s going on and so many people [are] coming up to me and apologizing, now they’re saying, ‘You know you were right when you said that,'” claimed Trump, who added, “perhaps I didn’t know how right I was, because nobody knew the extent of it.”

President Trump’s various statements continue to be proven right time after time. Despite this, the left refuses to believe anything he says.  Rather than accept the truth, they continue spreading lies and conspiracy theories about him. Trump’s response to their lunacy is ridicule and it is perfect and should be adopted by all conservatives. Ridiculing the left’s ideas will hopefully get them to realize just how absurd some of their positions really are.
