Democrats Go One Step Further, Introduce Bullet Control Bill

Democrats introduced bills to limit how many bullets citizens can purchase.

Democrats are pushing major bills to limit ammunition purchases.

Democratic lawmakers are claiming citizens have no right to purchase ammunition for firearms, according to the Daily Caller.

Democrats in the House of Representatives and Senate have introduced bills that would tighten background checks for purchasing bullets.

Amid a growing appetite for more gun control laws, Democrats want to limit the amount of ammunition citizens can legally purchase.

During a news conference on Monday, Florida Democrat Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz introduced the bill and immediately drummed up calls for gun control.

“You do not have the right to bear bullets,” Wasserman-Schultz said.

The former Democratic National Committee chairwoman claims the U.S. Constitution doesn’t afford citizens the right to purchase bullets.

The Ammunition Background Check Act was introduced in the House by Wasserman-Schultz and in the Senate by Connecticut Democrat Sen. Richard Blumenthal.

The bill would require citizens to pass a federal background check prior to being allowed to purchase bullets.

“I really think it’s important to underscore that without bullets a gun is just a hunk of useless metal, and a would-be killer lacks the means to actually kill or maim,” she said.

Democrats have been exploiting the shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida last month for cheap political points.

After 17 innocent people were killed by confessed gunman Nikolas Cruz, Democrats have been relentlessly calling for gun control measures.

Democrats refuse to mention that the FBI has admitted it missed several warnings and credible tips about the shooting leading up to the shooting.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Department also received more than 45 calls about Cruz displaying violent behavior and speaking about harming others.

Those facts are never mentioned by Democrats because it doesn’t align with their political message about gun control.

Americans should be thankful Republicans control both chambers of Congress, or Democrats like Wasserman-Shultz and Bulmenthal would have no problem passing constitutionally infringing measures like this one.
