During the already contentious hearings on Brett Kavanaugh, an unknown leftist began to ‘dox’ members of the republican side of the Senate Judiciary Committee who dared to not throw ‘softball’ questions to Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who claimed the judge had sexually assaulted her 36 years ago. However, that has changed.
In total, three senators, including Lindsay Graham, were ‘doxxed’ during the hearing, and the timing of the ‘doxxing’ coincided with when the senators spoke.
Capitol Police have arrested a democrat congressional intern with a history of working for some of the most outspoken leftists on the hill, and who was, at the time of the ‘doxxing,’ employed by Sheila Jackson Lee. In fact, some people have hinted that this bust, might very well prove a downfall for the far-left fringe of the party. Since his charges are serious, he could flip on his democrat ‘masters.’
At the time, a Twitter bot that acted as a watchdog for Wikipedia, @Congressedits, posted that the ‘doxxing’ was being done from a computer with a congressional IP address.
U.S. Capitol Police arrested 27-year-old Jackson Cosko in connection to the attack on the privacy of senators.
For his actions, Cosko was arrested on charges including making public restricted personal information, witness tampering, threats in interstate communications, unauthorized access of a government computer, identity theft, second-degree burglary, and unlawful entry, according to a statement from the police.
They also stated that more charges could be forthcoming as their investigation continued.
Most interestingly, Cosko has a long history of working for extremely ‘left-wing’ and ‘progressive’ politicians.
Lee, who made three unsuccessful attempts at becoming a judge before finally achieving that goal in 1987, only twelve years after graduating law school, had gone on the record, as the whip for the Congressional Black Caucus, and complained that Hurricane names were ‘too white’ in 2003.
Incidentally, she has also been dogged by allegations of mistreatment of her staffers, and maintained the highest turnover rate for such employees.
Even the Washingtonian and Huffington Post remarked that Lee was the ‘meanest’ person in Congress, a point driven home when United Airlines allegedly kicked a first-class passenger out of their seat for her, which she then turned into a claim of ‘racism’ against her.
Before that, it seems that Cosko worked for Senator Maggie Hassan, who is best known for having a ‘D’ grade on gun rights topics from the NRA and for the actions of one of her staffers, Caitlin Marriott, who yelled, “Mr. President, f**k you,” as Donald Trump walked through Capitol Hill for a meeting.
Hassan refused to fire her staffer for that shockingly disrespectful act.
Prior to that job, he seems to have worked for former Senator Barbara Boxer, a democrat from California, who has actually been in the news recently to provide ‘commentary’ on the Judge Brett Kavanaugh confirmation process, in which she seemed to completely mis-characterize both what he said and the claims against him.
Cosko also either worked or interned with Senator Dianne Feinstein’s office, which is interesting given that she is the ranking democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Feinstein is the person, in fact, who sat on the letter from Dr. Ford that raised such ‘serious’ allegations against Judge Kavanaugh until it was leaked to the press just in time to undermine the upcoming vote on his confirmation.
According to multiple accounts, the arrested staffer also worked for another, unnamed politician’s office.
Mr. Cosko also maintained a LinkedIn page, where he declared himself to be a “Democratic Political Professional & Cybersecurity Graduate Student.”
Sheila Jackson Lee’s office stated that they had already fired the accused, and that he had only worked for them for a few months.
Glenn Rushing, Jackson’s chief of staff, said that it was ‘unfortunate,’ and that the congresswoman’s office was “cooperating with law enforcement.”
The question is why he did it, and if, perhaps, any of the left-leaning politicians he worked with suggested that he should do so, or otherwise influenced him to post the information.
Given the petty and spiteful nature of leftist discourse during the Kavanaugh hearings, it does not seem unbelievable to most people that someone in the democrat and progressive political structures could have engineered the ‘leaks’ to harass political enemies.
This is, after all, the same party whose constituents harassed politicians after the hearings, and even cornered Senator Jeff Flake in an elevator.
