“DACA Is Dead,” Trump Blasts Democrats, Mexico For Failure On Illegal Immigration

Trump puts Democrats and Mexico on notice for failing to help quell illegal immigration.

President Trump tells democrats DACA is dead but it is their fault.

With a caravan of illegal immigrants heading for the U.S. southern border, President Donald Trump blasted democrats for inaction on securing the border, according to the Daily Wire.

“NO MORE DACA DEAL!” Trump wrote on Sunday, referring to the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program that shielded at least 800,000 illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. with their parents, who also aren’t authorized to legally be in the country.

In two additional tweets, Trump slammed democrats for refusing to work with his administration to find a legislative fix to DACA.

Trump said the democrats refusing to accept a deal that provides funding for his border wall has stymied U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents from apprehending illegal immigrants.

“Getting more dangerous,” Trump wrote, urging republicans to invoke the so-called “nuclear option.”

Given republicans control a 51-49 majority in the Senate, the nuclear option would allow for a simple majority vote to enforce immigration laws.

President Trump also spoke about reports that there are “caravans” of illegals traveling from Mexico to the U.S. border.

With democrats refusing to fund Trump’s wall and his hardliner immigration policies, illegal immigrants are given incentives to try and infiltrate the U.S.

Trump also threatened to pull the U.S. from the North American Free Trade Agreement if Mexico doesn’t do more to “stop the big drug and people flows” into the country.

“These big flows of people are all trying to take advantage of DACA. They want in on the act!” he added, demanding action from democrats.

The Obama-era DACA program not only shields illegals, it rewards and prioritizes illegal aliens over American families and children.

Trump has pleaded with democrats for months to strike a DACA deal, but they have balked at everything he proposes to secure the country.

In his proposal, Trump offered a pathway to citizenship for 1.8 million DACA recipients in exchange for an end to chain migration and the immigration visa lottery as well as a $25 billion trust fund for border security.

All three measures Trump requested would secure the border from the caravan of illegals headed for the U.S. and solve the DACA problem.

Time will tell what happens next, but Trump officially put Mexico and democrats on notice.
