With the Iranian people still protesting their terrorist-supporting government, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein cautioned the potential dangers associated with using the playbook of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Hussein said Iranian officials should ensure “their actions do not provoke a downward spiral of violence, as occurred in 2009” during the Green Revolution protests in which hundreds of innocent Iranians were assaulted and arrested by the government.
In his statement, Hussein said he was “deeply disturbed” by reports indicating hundreds have already been arrested with more than 20 people, including an 11-year-old boy, have been killed by the corrupt regime.
“The Iranian authorities must respect the rights of all demonstrators and detainees, including their right to life, and guarantee their safety and security,” Hussein said.
He continued: “There must be thorough, independent and impartial investigations of all acts of violence that have taken place – and a concerted effort by the authorities to ensure that all security forces respond in a manner that is proportionate and strictly necessary, and fully in line with international law.”
Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari, the leader of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, declared today that the protesters were created and stoked by Clinton years ago “to create riots, anarchy, insecurity and intrigue in Iran” as “a huge number of anti-revolutionary agents, pro-monarchists, and MKO members were tasked with creating and developing riot and anarchy in Iran.”
“The enemies perfectly know that by no means can they threaten the Islamic Republic of Iran in terms of defense,” said the IRGC commander. “So they have mustered all their capital, after the sacred defense, to pose cultural, economic, and security threats against the Islamic Iran, and with God’s help they are assuredly to be defeated in these fields, too.”
The Revolutionary Guard, who has been at odds against the United States military for years, claims Clinton created the riots and uprisings in 2009 to overthrow the Iranian government. He claims those same uprisings and agendas are at work today, thanks to her habitual shady actions.
He’s not wrong, as Clinton also funded and gave arms to the people in Benghazi, Libya to overthrow and kill Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi. Her decision paved the way for terrorists to overtake the country, which also led to four Americans being killed in Benghazi in 2012 when she refused to send help for 13 hours as they fought for their lives.
President Donald Trump has issued his support for the Iranian people and their quest for basic human rights, as a stark difference from Clinton’s positions to arm and support terrorists in other countries.
