On CNN Monday morning, James Clapper (Director of National Intelligence under Obama) slipped in a critical piece of information about the spy-gate scandal against President Trump.
He indicated that he was ‘following orders,’ given to him by Obama.
Now, this is important for two reasons. Firstly, John Durham and William Barr are getting dangerously close to uncovering the whole twisted, evil, and illegal attempt to destroy a political candidate carried out by the federal government.
Secondly, this excuse was prepared in the final hours of the Obama White House, drafted by Susan Rice. Conservative Daily Post has reported on that very careful memo that she wrote, which essentially exculpates all the major players involved in spy-gate.
When asked by CNN anchor Jim Sciutto if he was concerned that Attorney General Barr’s and U.S. Attorney John Durham’s criminal investigation into the scandal will find any wrongdoing on their part, Clapper said, “Well, I don’t know, I don’t think there was any wrongdoing,” which doesn’t exactly inspire a lot of confidence, but then he said something really interesting.
“I know, for my part, my main concern was with the Russians and the threat posed by the Russians to our very political fabric and uhhhh, the message I’m getting from all of this is apparently what we were supposed to have done was to ignore the Russian interference, ignore the Russian meddling and the threat that it poses to us, and oh, by the way, blown off what the then commander-in-chief, President Obama, told us to do, which was to assemble all of the reporting we could, that we had available to us.”
“It’s kind of disconcerting now to be investigated for, you know, having done our duty and done what we were told to do by the president,” Clapper added.
It looks like Clapper may have just confirmed that Barack Obama was directly involved in the Trump surveillance scandal, and that Clapper and others in the intelligence community were acting on his orders. Here’s video of the exchange:

It certainly sounds to me like Clapper is giving the “We were just following orders” defense, doesn’t it?
Exactly. And that defense was planned as soon as Donald Trump won the election.
