California is essentially known as a liberals paradise. The progressive nature of the politicians there is unmatched anywhere else. The newest bill proposed by the California State Senate pushes the transgender cause by punishing offenders up to a year in prison.

SB 219, proposed by State Sen. Scott Wiener (D-SF), punishes those who “willfully and repeatedly” refuse “to use a transgender resident’s preferred name or pronouns.” This bill would be in use in public health, retirement or other housing institutions.

CBN News reported that the “fines for repeat offenders could be as high as $1,000 and a jail term of up to a year.” So calling a transgender by the wrong pronoun is going to get someone a year in prison?

This is just an insane bill, and it really shows the disturbing realities of California. They’re going to punish people for using a wrong pronoun? There are so many other things that they can focus on, but that’s the liberal mind for you.
