October 10th was to be the day that it all went down. Things are rolling along in fifth gear now that Blasting News is reporting that in the travel ban case, “the Supreme Court took an unexpected turn earlier today when Oral Arguments from both sides were canceled.”
Instead of this happening, the Nation’s highest court will “hear from both sides if the issue of the travel ban” was solved now that the changes were made, as the Conservative Daily Post reported on earlier. The court expects all briefs to be turned in no later than Oct. 5th.
The court was careful to state that this was not a final ruling and that oral arguments were simply being removed for a moment so that it can be ascertained as it to if Trump’s revisions have solved the problem(s) by itself.
Solicitor General Noel J. Francisco issued the request for the change since the original travel ban in question has expired.
Gornstein, Executive Director of the Supreme Court Institute at George Town Law said that since the ban did end, the whole issue could be “moot.”
If both sides are happy then the matter would be over with and if not, things will need “to start afresh” since the law in question would be changed and surely have different merits and reasoning for both sides.
Naureen Shah of Amnesty International US called out “government-sanctioned discrimination” which she insisted falsely to be “at play.” She must have missed that North Korea, a nation full of hate and all but devoid of Muslims, is also on the list.
The fact is that these other nations are dangerous because Sharia-compliant Islam is dangerous.
If that offends Muslims, then perhaps they need to reign in their own violent leaders and police themselves.
Until they do, they are not welcomed into America. That is just the way that it needs to be.
