“You had one job, Comey…”
Last night America decided who will be the next President: Donald J. Trump. He bested over a dozen talented Republican opponents, escaped every booby trap set by a vigorously hostile mainstream press regime, and finally brought down one of the most entrenched and slippery career politicians in American history, Hillary R. Clinton.

Like the Bible says, “There is a time for laughter, and a time for tears…”
As Trump supporters, we all deserve to take some time to bask in the rays of victory. We are also obliged to thank God for this great blessing. Trump’s victory does not instantly mean all our problems are solved, not by any means. We still have families and jobs and goals to focus on. And we still have four years of hard work to Make America Great Again. As tempting as it is to “sit on our laurels,” Trump’s victory is actual a call to action and hard work, not smug apathy.
Or, to paraphrase Winston Churchill’s famous speech in 1942:
“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning. Henceforth [America’s enemies] will meet equally well armed, and perhaps better armed troops. Hence forth they will have to face in many theaters of war that superiority in the [media] which they have so often used without mercy against others, of which they boasted all round the world, and which they intended to use as an instrument for convincing all other peoples that all resistance to them was hopeless.”
Now, while it feels good to be on the winning side in this election, and warm feelings are going around like a peace pipe among Republicans and on the news shows–for now, at least–this does not mean the slimy underbelly of Washington, D.C. has stopped churning–not for an instant. Trump may have one, but old grudges and old debts still exist. The constant struggle for political power has now become a scramble for survival among Democrats.
As we all know, Comey has been heavily criticized by both Democrats and Republicans for his statements and (in)action on Hillary’s “Emailgate” investigation. But it seems the heaviest fire is coming from his left side.
As The Daily Mail reports, “After persistent prodding by senior adviser Valerie Jarrett to remove James Comey from his job as director of the FBI, President Obama has agreed the time has come to fire America’s top cop.” According to a White House source familiar with Obama’s decision, Jarrett and the president held lengthy discussions over the past several days about the political and legal ramifications of firing the FBI director.
Allegedly, Obama was furious with Comey for reopening the FBI’s investigation of Hillary’s emails less than two weeks before the election, then admitting two days before the election that he couldn’t find any cause for taking action against the Democratic nominee. Obama was reluctant to move against Comey, however, since it would open him to charges of obstruction of justice.
However, according to the White House source The Daily Mail cites, Jarrett convinced the president that it was within his power to remove the FBI director for his ill-conceived and erratic interference in the presidential election. She also argued that there would be bipartisan support in Congress for such a move against Comey, who has alienated both Democrats and Republicans.
The problem with Jarrett’s argument is that Republicans, especially under the banner of President “Judge Dredd” Trump, are the party of law and order. As such, it behooves us to respect Director Comey’s ten-year contract as a federal employee. This does not mean he should not be reprimanded or publicly questioned to finally give straight answers. But it does mean that Obama needs to ignore his Communist advisors like Jarrett and not “play the dictator” that everyone loves to portray Trump as.
After the White House legal counsel agreed with Jarrett, Obama ordered his top advisers to draw up a plan for getting rid of the troublesome FBI director. It has yet to be decided who will wield the hatchet—the president, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, or someone else—and exactly when Comey will be forced to go. So far, the only firm decision is that Comey will not be fired until after the election.
My gut tells me that he will not be fired at all, provided he “plays ball” with the Trump Administration starting as soon as possible, and pledges finally to conduct a proper and thorough investigation of all the evidence against Hillary Clinton for gross negligence with state secrets, perjury, and obstruction of justice, if not also bribery and international money laundering.
According to these sources, The Daily Mail adds, Comey has lost the good will of his agents and some of his deputies, and more and more of them are clamoring for his resignation.
‘I met with friends from the FBI and Justice,’ said a retired Justice Department official, ‘and they were all in agreement that Comey’s jerky decisions—opening the case against Hillary without definite cause, then closing it without consulting with his top deputies—was flabbergasting and deeply disturbing for career law enforcement and prosecutors.
‘Whatever support and goodwill Jim had until recently has been destroyed,’ this source continued. ‘He has injured the bureau and it will take a miracle for him to survive this.’
This sordid affair is just another example of how divided our nation is, and how divisive the Clinton Cancer has become in almost every branch of our government. With just over two months before the hammer drops, the leftist rats had better find a way off the ship, or turn themselves to be good little mice.
