BREAKING: ISIS Announces Incoming American Attack, “Just Like Nice In France”

In three days, the United States will be celebrating Thanksgiving. As we all know, it is a time for families and friends to get together and celebrate what we are thankful for. While it is a nice time to celebrate everything we are thankful for, it is also a time to be cautious.

This is a national holiday and as such there are several celebrations that go on throughout the day. You have the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, several National Football League games are on that day, and several other big events that are happening on this day.

Because of all the events that are going on, the crowds throughout the day are enormous. And as such, those crowds draw the attention of America’s enemies that might want to carry out an attack on that day in order to really hurt the United States. And that is exactly what a Yemen citizen living in the United States attempted to do.

Mohamed Rafik Naji was arrested and charged with trying to join ISIS and expressing support for a Nice-style attack in Times Square. Except that he wasn’t just expressing support for it; he was actually going to do it. You don’t just casually mention carrying out an attack similar to one that happened this summer that killed 86 people.

Naji began posting pro-ISIS content on Facebook back in 2014 and actually made an attempt to join the terrorist organization in the spring of 2015. He traveled to both Yemen and Turkey but was ultimately unsuccessful. But what was interesting was that he emailed his girlfriend after the unsuccessful attempt to join.

“We can’t get in.” That was the message that he sent to his girlfriend. In addition to that, he asked her for $2,000 for a plane ticket to go back to where he was from. He had been hiding out in the mountains for three weeks adding, “It’s harder than I thought.”

In addition to those messages, he sent her a selfie where he was wearing all black clothing, a tactical vest, and a bandanna over his face. In addition he had a large knife handle that was visible. A video he sent was titled “First day on the job,” and gunshots can be heard in the background.

After he returned to the United States in 2015, you would think that Naji would have forgotten about trying to join the terrorist group. WRONG. He continued to communicate about it with a paid government informant who made contact with him through Facebook. And it was there that he started talking about the terror attacks that happened in July.

He talked about the deadly Bastille Day attack in Nice, France. That day a gunman used a truck to run over people, ultimately killing 86 people and injuring hundreds more. It was an event that shook people to the core in France, as just months earlier they had to endure the attack on the Eiffel Tower that saw hundreds more die.

“I was saying if there is a truck, I mean a garbage truck and one drives it there to Times Square and crushes them shshshshshshsh… Times Square day.” That was one of the quotes that was pulled from phone records with the informant.

But it wasn’t enough that Naji talked about Times Square. He went on to say that ISIS wants to have an operation carried out in Times Square in New York. “They want an operation in Times Square. The Islamic State already put up scenes of Times Square, you understand.”

This is what the Islamic State has been asking of their supporters in the West. An article that was submitted in ISIS’ English-language magazine urged supporters in the West to use rented trucks in Nice-style attacks. They also went on to call the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade “an excellent target.”

And considering that Naji was living in New York at the time of his arrest, that meant that he was going to carry out an attack on the famed parade. It is a large target with a lot of civilians present and it was going to do a lot of damage. But the good news is that the police have somewhat of a plan in place to prevent any attacks.

Police have said that they are planning to place sand-filled trucks and concrete barriers as blockades all around the parade route. By doing that, they have a preliminary form of defense against any terrorist that wants to do what ISIS has asked and carry out an attack on Thanksgiving Day.

This is consistent with what ISIS has said in the past. They have wanted to attack the Thanksgiving Day parade for a while and this year could quite possibly be the year that they do it. And considering the fact that a large number of people come out just to see the parade, it could be a deadly combination.

Of course ISIS has been known to do what they can to get as many people involved in their inner workings as possible. And to try and get some of the younger American kids they have turned to social media to try and lure the kids into signing up for ISIS. They are attempting to get these kids to destroy the very country that raised them.

And reports have said that they have been looking into the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. Considering that it’s an area that has a tremendous amount of civilian activity, it’s something to take seriously.

One person was already arrested, but there could be thousands more out there just waiting for their chance to cause some damage to the country. We have to be diligent and report any sort of suspicious activity that could happen. Otherwise there could be innocent Americans injured and killed because of some Muslim nut bag. If you don’t want that to happen, report anything and everything that could be seen as a threat.
