Trust is one of the hardest things to attain and one of the easiest to lose. If it could be compared to anything tangible, then trust would be compared to fine china. It takes a very long time to produce top rate glassware, the intricate artwork alone taking even longer than it did to forge and blow the glass. The ovens needed to be heated, any colors used carefully chosen, and the whole project is a testimony to time, dedication, and love. This is especially true for politicians, and not one alive today has managed to amass the level of trust that President Donald Trump has achieved with the American people. His china, so to speak, rests upon a cotton matte and is rarely taken from the shelf since it can be so easily broken.
Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) is all but juggling with the fragile object as he announces today that funding for The Wall may not be included in the GOP budget for the coming year. The Hill is reporting that House Democrats and even some (sellout) Republicans are working tirelessly to make sure that the $12 billion needed for the construction is not part of the proposal. This is a shattering bit of news that not only betrays our trust, but also goes against what we were told. So far, updates have been that construction was already underway and that the money came from Obama’s budget.
Paul “the RINO” Ryan is a fountain of letdowns, falsehoods, and outright lies. Had he been the victorious Vice President in the 2012 election, from what we see daily now, it would have been perhaps worse than had Clinton won. He lead a team of Republican’s who spent years writing a watered down version of “Obamacare,” has told us that tax reform is not going to happen as Trump had promised, and now The Wall is not getting any funding. Since the Democrats are against the plan, the fear is that the GOP can not get enough voters for funding. Ryan is just going to give up instead of making the left vote and ruin their records. This HELPS the Democrats shoot it down AND not face public outcry. Is this Paul Ryan or Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA)?
Thankfully, some outlets are not afraid to put the blame where it needs to go, even if Ryan won’t. Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX) and Rep. Martha McSally (R-AZ), both turncoats who have embraced the left on this issue, are pandering to their illegal base, for example. Both of these shady politicians are from border states that suffer the blight of illegal immigration, but who stand to gain from catering to the influx. This they gleefully do even if it damages the state that they “serve” and the nation as a whole.
“We recognize the need for robust border security and infrastructure to ensure public safety and increase cross-border commerce,” the two traitors wrote in a letter to the White House, “We also have an obligation to be good stewards of taxpayer dollars.” This is just flowery language that means nothing! Allowing illegals into the nation to take the jobs, get the benefits from a basically bankrupted nation (19 trillion in debt and growing), and forming an underbelly of people who have not honored our border laws is not good for any taxpayer. It is just hyperbole, “jabberwocky,” and nothing more. How is being a “good steward” an accomplishment when the taxpayers money goes to illegals?
Those that betray the nation love to do it while saying things like “good steward” because it quotes the Bible and makes them sound so honest and kind. California’s failed Gov. Jerry Brown used the same ploy as he attacked The Wall, too. The Bible, it seems, is the perfect book to hide behind when backstabbing the nation. They find it the perfect prop for pilfering taxes in order to gain voters from a populace that is just voting on the issue of letting more family members in for a free ride. Evil people doing sinister things often quote the Good Book, thus proving that nothing is scarier than a leftist or a RINO with a Bible in hand.
Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is joining with Democrats too, worried about what our image with Mexico will be. That’s right America: he is NOT worried about our jobs, our future, our safety, or even the growing wave of Democrat votes that are sucking us dry as if by vampires awoken from a timeless slumber. This man may have been a great hero for this nation in the days of Vietnam War, but he has more than diminished his work there by his years of “service,” which have only harmed our country. He can safely be counted as a true enemy of everything that he accomplished with actions during his time in that war. Senator John McCain is a national disgrace.
“There is a lot of anti-American sentiment in Mexico,” sang songbird McCain. “If the election were tomorrow in Mexico, you’d probably have a left-wing, anti-American president in Mexico. That can’t be good for America,” he went on. The irony in his statement is that a leftist parading as a GOP Senator can’t be good for Arizona, but it seems that they have one.
Those that do cherish America, such as the Federation for American Immigration (FAIR), are saying that the border wall is a “necessity.” This a fact shared by those in the U.S. who put Trump in office. “A physical barrier on the southern border is a necessity if our government wishes to meet its obligation to protect the sovereignty and security of the United States of America,” they proclaim. They also said that “Besides helping stem the tide of illegal immigration, it also limits the ability of drug cartels, human traffickers, terrorists and other national security threats to access the United States from Mexico and the rest of Central and South America. Furthermore, a secure border sends the message that prospective immigrants are expected to follow the rule of law.”
Donald Trump is not likely to stand for this. If he does, between having to wait for Obamacare’s repeal and replacement (which is acceptable since Ryan’s plan was terrible), tax reform, the unpopular strike in Syria, and now the news of The Wall no longer set to happen, he is as good as sunk. The GOP is doing just what so many feared that they would and the President is being lead further and further from the promises that he was keeping when he first took office. Before Trump signs one more paper or takes one more action, he needs to spend an hour listening to what he promised America and then summon Ryan to his office for a very, VERY long talk.
