Just today, the Conservative Daily Post published some dreadful facts regarding Ohio Governor John Kasich and his support of the job destroying, income lessening DACA. He even invited those affected to move to his poverty ridden state. It seems like there are so many sanctuary cities and states attempting to crop up like weeds in the field of Constitutional law that those who voted for President Trump are losing at every turn. Thankfully, that is not so.
The best way to greatly stymie illegal migration is to make sure that there are less illegal aliens in the nation for Democrats to grant job killing amnesty to. That means a wall, and as the Gateway Pundit shows today, “President Trump is one step closer to fulfilling one of his core campaign promises; building a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.” At last, Customs and Border Protection have announced that four companies have been awarded “other materials” and “contracts for border wall prototypes.”
— CBP (@CustomsBorder) September 7, 2017
According to the official CBP website, companies who were chosen thus far are:
- “Caddell Construction Co., (DE), LLC, Montgomery, Alabama
- KWR Construction, Inc. – Sierra Vista, Arizona
- ELTA North America Inc. – Annapolis Junction, Maryland
- W. G. Yates & Sons Construction Company, Philadelphia, Mississippi“
From here, the CBP shall “meet with vendors” to work out a timeline. Construction prototypes are expected to be started as soon as this fall!
The builders are to show designs that sport “robust physical characteristics” and “they will be between 18 and 30 feet high.” We are told from the site that the “’other materials’ border wall prototypes are designed to deter illegal crossings in the area in which they are constructed.”
Secondly, the CBP says that “an innovative perspective in the application of new materials” is sought. We know already that solar panels are to be attached to some designs which would likely power sections of the whole wall itself as it bakes in the south Texas sun (brilliant, by the way).
Reuters is also reporting that “The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said on Tuesday it would waive environmental and related laws in order to expedite building security-related barriers and roads along the nation’s border with Mexico near San Diego.” This shows that Trump will NOT back down even while Democrats and the open border crowd weep like they did on election night.
Even the snowflakes at Politico took notice and wrote about G.O.P. plans when they said, “House Republicans were planning to pass a spending bill stacked with his campaign promises, including money to build his border wall with Mexico.”
The people have spoken and for a change, the president to whom they’ve spoken to is actually listening. Hopefully, the wall can be started and completed well before the next presidential election cycle. If so, this will be a massive boon and chance to maybe see four more years of prosperity.
…just thinking ahead.
