When Defense Secretary Mattis was asked if Trump’s military movement threats were a political stunt, he bluntly stated, “We don’t do stunts.”
However, the Pentagon did say “more than 7,000” troops were already being sent to the Southwest border to support the Customs and Border Protection agents there, in anticipation of the criminal invaders.
However, “As far as the caravan is concerned, our military is out,” Trump said. “We have about 5,800. We’ll go up to anywhere between 10,000 and 15,000 military personnel on top of Border Patrol, ICE and everybody else at the border.”
Later on Wednesday, Trump told reporters, “We have to have a wall of people.”
A wall of people would be a good way to stop the horde of illegals hoping to succor off American taxpayers.
The president also reaffirmed his intent to remove the anchor baby birthright scheme that allows illegals to sneak in, have a child, and then receive benefits for the rest of their lives.
As previously mentioned, the president said, “If he can do DACA, we can do this by executive order,” explaining Obama’s unlawful amnesty program the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals executive order.
The president also told ABC that the media is downplaying the number of military age men in the group.
“You have caravans coming up that look a lot larger than it’s reported actually. I’m pretty good at estimating crowd size. And I’ll tell you they look a lot bigger than people would think,” he explained.
The bottom line is that President Trump is doing exactly what the American people want. Most are sick and tired of a globalist mentality that ushers in socialist policies, which then evolve into far-left fascism.
Americans don’t want to be slaves, and most of us want to retain the country’s sovereignty.
It seems like the mainstream media cannot understand that people who don’t live with 10 bodyguards in giant fortified homes don’t want a bunch of criminal gang members coming into neighborhoods and (God forbid) committing their “kill, rape, and control” motto.
So, while the AP derisively reported that Trump’s plan to add 15,000 was a ‘rallying cry’ for his base… they’re right. And, they can imply racism all they want… it’s not racist to want to protect yourself.
