Biden Tells Asian and Latino Coalition: ‘Poor Kids Just As Bright As White Kids’

Is Joe Biden really the best the democrats have to offer… an old school racist-loving democrat who has repeatedly said the most outrageously stupid, insulting, and bigoted things?

He opens his mouth real racism and bigotry come out.

It’s like Joe Biden can’t help himself. He can’t help himself from grouping women and children. He can’t stop his inherent bigotry and racism… and he can’t control the foolish things he says.

Not to mention his scandals with China, the Ukraine, and others.

In an example of his latest idiocy, he told a group of people with the Asian and Latino Coalition yesterday that “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”

He added that because Iowa only has a small population of African Americans, that’s why some schools perform better than others.

Seriously!

While addressing the people gathered in Des Moines, Iowa, Biden said, “We should challenge these students, we should challenge students in these schools to have advanced placement programs in these schools.”

He was stumping on the need to ‘improve’ the education system, adding, “We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor you cannot do it, poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”

Surprisingly, he seemed to recognize his accidental racism slip.

Breitbart News reported:

Biden quickly attempted to clarify his remarks by adding “wealthy kids, black kids, Asian kids” to the end of his previous sentence.

Biden on why some schools perform better than others: “There’s less than 1% of the population of Iowa that is African American. There is probably less than 4 or 5% that are minorities. What is in [D.C.]? So look, it goes back to what you start off with, what you’re dealing with.”

This is a pattern. Washington Post, 2007: “Biden also stumbled through a discourse on race and education, leaving the impression that he believed one reason so many Washington D.C. schools fail is the city’s high minority population.” http://voices.washingtonpost.com/44/2007/10/biden-says-hes-best-prepared-s.html …

The gaffe comes just as Biden was moving past the recent controversy surrounding his praise of two segregationist Democrats, the late Sens. James Eastland (D-MS) and Herman Talmadge (D-GA).

Biden invoked the men, who dedicated their careers to halting the progress of civil rights, at a fundraiser in New York City in June while touting his ability to get “things done” in Congress.

The remarks, which were controversial in their own right, only served to underscore his 40-year record of opposing busing to desegregate public schools. Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) was quick to rebuke the former vice president over the issue at the first Democrat presidential debate, noting that both men had been allies in his campaign against busing.

The New York Post reported:

But President Trump’s campaign quickly seized on the tongue-slip, with his “rapid response director” Andrew Clark tweeting out a video clip of the remark.

“Yikes…have fun mitigating that one,” he tweeted.

Biden walked out of the Democratic primary debates last week red-faced when he accidentally told donors to “go to Joe 30330” when he meant to tell them to “text JOE to 30330″ to donate.

On Monday, the befuddled 76-year-old bungled the locations of the El Paso and Dayton mass shootings when expressed sympathy for the “tragic events in Houston today and also in Michigan the day before.”

Yet, this is the man who is leading the polls for the democrats?

Perhaps democrats continue to accuse others of racism because they themselves, are the racists?
