We live in ironic times. For instance, one of the most hateful groups extant today is a group that claims to be against hate groups. Their name is ANTIFA, and when they are not attacking one another because they can’t keep their enemies straight, they are out attacking conservatives, libertarians, and anyone who dares to use the First Amendment, as the Conservative Daily Post has shown.
Yvette Felarca, a middle school teacher and ANTIFA leader (what a grisly combination that reeks of indoctrination) “was ordered to pay over $11,000 in damages to former Berkeley College Republicans President Troy Worden” by the Alameda County Superior Court. The teacher is said to be “an organizer” for the ANTIFA sister group, “By Any Means Necessary (BAMN),” the Maven confirms.
The cowardly Falarca was busy filing restraining orders against Worden and had done her best to hide behind her status as a social justice warrior in order to avoid justice. When she dropped this ploy, she was in turn sued for “damages and attorney fees,” Campus Reform has shown.
“Felarca and her fellow travelers in BAMN/Antifa need to learn that the California courts are not their personal plaything to use and abuse at will by filing baseless and vexatious lawsuits,” said Harmeet Dhillon, “an attorney at the law firm where Meuser works.”
The point of the restraining order was to hamper Worden’s free speech. This was achieved since it “prevented Worden from exercising his free-speech rights on campus,” a major reason for the counter-suit.
“By ruling that she did not demonstrate good faith in filing the restraining order, the court recognized the frivolous nature of Felarca’s actions,” Mueser further explains. “The award of attorney fees should send a strong signal that she cannot abuse the court system to silence speech.”
This leftist teacher has in the past “assaulted a man during a rally in Sacramento,” according to information obtained from the East Bay Times. This instructor of our youth was “charged for inciting and participating in a riot and assault likely to cause great bodily injury.”
Felarca was also “arrested for rioting, obstruction, and battery while she protested at the Patriot Prayer demonstration at the UC Berkeley campus,” reveals Berkeleyside News.
Shanta Driver, the teacher’s attorney, has tried to say that this is an attack on Felarca and that the ruling is politically motivated. “This verdict was based on the judge’s decision to support the political views of Troy Worden and the alt-right and that is not acceptable,” the lawyer said.
Driver, like many leftists who may agree, could not be more mistaken. It does not matter what Worden, the so-called “alt-right,” or anyone else believes. NONE of that played a factor here at all. Even if the judge had agreed with Felarca (which may have been the case), no one has the right to harm others or to riot in a way that puts others in harm’s way.
Not even when they are a violent thug posting as snowflake while teaching our children.
