The Austrian government announced on Friday that it will expel 60 Turkish-funded imams, their families, and shut down seven Islamic mosques, according to The Daily Mail. The huge announcement has undoubtedly sent the migrant-loving European Union reeling, as it has been catering to radical Islamic terrorists and “religious communities” for years.
Kurz said the government will be targeting the Arab Religious Community in Vienna, which runs six mosques and employs dozens of imams. The Muslims and mosques are reportedly involved in funneling money and resources to other allied-terrorist groups in Turkey.
The operation was made possible following major election victories in 2015, where Kurz and many conservative leaders were elected into office by voters for their anti-Islam stance. Rather than cater to radical Muslims and allow Islam to spread its roots, Kurz’s party had other ideas.
The lawmakers vowed to close the borders, reduce migration, and combat radical Islamic terrorism — and their latest operation is indicative of that.
Kurz led the charge to pass a tough “law on Islam” two years ago, which banned foreign funding of religious groups and installed new Muslim societies that promoted “positive fundamental view towards state and society” in Austria.
Kurz said the mosques and imams have been working for years with terrorist groups in Turkey, and that they will be held accountable under the fullest extent of the law.
He didn’t reveal specifics, how much money, and what resources were funneled, but vowed to continue rooting out extremists seeking to harm innocent civilians in Austria.
At least 40 of the imams had an active application for extending their residency in Austria, but Kurz said they have been referred to immigration authorities and would be expelled from the country in the coming weeks.
More importantly, the issue of combating radical terrorists from carrying out violence against innocent people isn’t exclusive to just Austria.
As previously reported by Conservative Daily Post, the FBI confirmed in March that there are more than 3,000 open terrorism investigations in the United States. The bureau revealed it is currently probing thousands of homegrown terrorists that are associated with terrorist groups. The FBI said the threat of homegrown terrorists looking to carry out attacks against Americans is on the rise.
Despite the liberal media claiming America should allow thousands of un-vetted migrants into the country, Austria is the perfect case study about how these radical extremists can overtake a nation and carry out mass attacks on innocent civilians.
However, Austria now has men in charge who won’t bow down anymore.
