Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Democrat Diane Feinstein, who sat on the letter from Christine Blasey Ford for nearly two months, has been demanding the GOP be transparent with the American people. However, with the FBI report on the allegations into Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh expected to be released soon, now Feinstein doesn’t want the report to be made available to the public.
Democrats have been screaming for the FBI report for weeks, and now Feinstein is trying to seal it. In fact, she’s claiming that the report will ‘identify people’ and that’s the reason for the sudden demand for secrecy.
Democrats and their media allies have been endlessly excoriating Kavanaugh with countless uncorroborated accusations and accusing him of criminal wrongdoing. But when asked about allowing the public to see the FBI’s final report, Feinstein whiffed.
“It would seem to me that if people are going to be identified this ought to be held very close and not,” Feinstein said. “I think the investigation ought to be closely held.”
.@SenFeinstein indicates that the FBI report on Kavanaugh should NOT be made public: “It would seem to me that if people are going to be identified this ought to be held very close and not."
"I think the investigation ought to be closely held," she reiterated.

Amazingly enough, Feinstein didn’t appear concerned with keeping people’s identities “closely held” when it appears that she, or someone from her office, leaked the letter she received from Ford.
Over two months ago, Ford sent a letter to Feinstein alleging that Kavanaugh pinned her down on a bed and groped her at a high school party in the early 1980s.
Rather than come forward, share the letter with anyone on the Committee, and perhaps allow for more time to conduct an investigation, Feinstein did absolutely nothing.
She never once mentioned the letter when she interviewed Kavanaugh one-on-one last month nor did she mention Ford at all during his confirmation hearing two weeks ago.
The letter mysteriously “leaked” to the media and kicked-off the hearing between Ford and Kavanaugh last Thursday to testify about the allegations. And it also paved the way for the FBI conducting a one-week probe into the claims, which will conclude by Friday.
Ford has no witnesses, evidence, doesn’t remember where the alleged house is at, doesn’t know when it happened, didn’t actually tell anyone Kavanaugh assaulted her until a few years ago, and has changed her statement a number of times.
Democrats have also advanced shoddy allegations from four other people. None of the accusers have any evidence or witnesses to corroborate their claims against Kavanaugh, but Feinstein and company have demanded the FBI investigate them as part of the supplemental background investigation into Kavanaugh.
After orchestrating a complete circus for over a month and smearing Kavanaugh with baseless accusations, now Feinstein doesn’t want the FBI report made available to the public.
Perhaps that is because it will show that there’s no evidence at all to support the phony claims against Kavanaugh, and that his denial will likely be supported by the bureau’s findings.
Just about everyone can see the game Feinstein is playing, but Democrats are already ratcheting up the excuses.
