Sanders is promoting a set of ideas that will send companies fleeing from U.S. shores.

The character Deputy Barney Fife on the legendary “Andy Griffith” tv show could not have shot himself in the foot with funnier results than what Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has done. Perhaps he did not mean to, but by trying to endorse and rally the troops behind Democrats (who cheated him during his presidential run), he has warned all of America just how dreadful such an outcome would be if they won!

As Breitbart News reports today, “the corporate tax rate would go up,” proclaimed Sanders. This would be the single worst thing for a booming economy like ours that one can imagine. To put this into perspective, during a rise like we are now seeing, historically even Democrats would not make this move at this time. It would be like applying the new brakes on a race car as the event is beginning.

On Face the Nation, host Dickerson asks, “If Democrats take control are corporate taxes going up?” Sanders replies, “I think we’ll take a very hard look at this entire tax bill and make it a tax bill that works for the middle class and working families not for the top 1 percent and large multi-national corporations.”

The host then says, “There’s no question that in order to achieve all of the things you want, taxes are going to have to go up on corporations if they’re down to 21 as a result of this legislation you can’t find the money anywhere where else.”

To his credit, Sanders at least did not lie when he said in response, “Absolutely, yes.”

So, okay,” says Dickerson as Sander reiterates, “In my view, absolutely.” He seems blind to the fact that no company is going to return (or stay) in the U.S. if it cost more to remain, which he is endorsing here.

So here we have, in his own words, the socialist guidepost known as Bernie “Feel the Bern” Sanders promising to riase our taxes just as we lurch from the doldrums of a failed Bush and Obama economic structure.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump wants the economy to flourish and he is combining the lessons learned from both Reagan (via low taxes to spur growth) on the right and JFK (via fighting waste and corruption) on the left to do it.

The left in America has brainwashed everyone into thinking that government is the answer when no government agency in existence has produced anything but wasted opportunities. The private sector can do a much better job at a much lower cost than big government every time.

The only burn that we shall feel as a people if Sanders gets his way is the hole that our money burns out of our wallet as Uncle Sam goes on a wasteful spending spree.
